FIRST AND SECOND AGM OF AATMANIRBHAR LBS HELD

Dang, Ghorahi, April 21, 2021: Aatmanirbhar LBS which was promoted by Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra has held its first and second Annual General Meeting (AGM) of its share holders in Dang Ghorahi at Malla In hotel on April 21.

The AGM was attended by as many as 50 participants including 28 share holders and 22 staff  members. The AGM was formally inaugurated by Aasmani Chaudhary.

The program was presided over by Mira Chaudhary while Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra founder chair Aasmani Chaudhary also presided over the AGM as the guest.

Aatmanirbhar LBS Chief Executive Officer Shogat Bir Chaudhary also graced the AGM with his presence. Present on the occasion were the Aatmanirbhar LBS board members such as Mina Giri, Manju Chaudhary, Sarita Giri, Aruna Chaudhary, and independent member Goma Mahara.

Speaking during the program the auditor of Aatmanirbhar LBS  Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary spoke about the financial progress made by Aatmanirbhar LBS in the past years.

Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Capitals Bijay Lal Shrestha shared his information and knowledge about the value of share in a bank and the issuance of “Initial Public Offering -IPO” after the AGM is held by Aatmanirbhar LBS.

The CEO of Aatmanirbhar LBS Shogat Bir Chaudhary also shared his information about the performances of Aatmanirbhar LBS in the past years.

Following this, the AGM finalized the agenda related to appointing an auditor and perks for him, for which Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary was unanimously appointed from the AGM.

Then the AGM passed the agenda that empowers the Aatmanirbhar LBS board committee to take decision in case of situation of merger of Aatmanirbhar LBS with other Laghubitta companies or to sale or buy any branches.

The AGM also passed that hence forth the board will comprise of 5 to 7 members for which Tika Ram Chaudhary was appointed as new board member.

Promoter of Aatmanirbhar LBS and chair of Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra Aasmani Chaudhary also briefed the AGM about how the initial steps were taken and how the Aatmanirbhar LBS was separated from Gramin Mahila Utthan Kendra by complying with the financial laws and bi laws of Nepal Rastra Bank.
