Nepal government's attention drawn towards misgiving created against Microfinance services
June 26, 2023, Dang: Coalition of nearly 40 Laghubitta Bittiya Sansthas active in Dang district on June 26, 2023 have collectively submiited an attention letter to the Chief Disgtrict Officer (CDO) of Dang district to remind him of all anomilies being created against microfinance services of Laghubittas across the nation by some miscreants.
Speaking to the journalists before meeting with CDO of Dang district, the chief executive officer of Aatmanirbhar Labhubitta and member of central task force of laggubita association Shogat Bir Chaudhary said that for the last nearly 12 to 14 months there have been repeated attacks upon most of the Laghubitta companies by some miscreants who are politically motivated and are bent on attacking laghubiita services by spreading rumors in different ways.
He also said some people who are politically motivated and protected are extorting money from the vulnerable and innocent clients of laghubitta companies and creating a big trouble for such companies functioning by following the financial rules and rugulations set in by Nepal Rastra Bank.
The CDO of Dang district while meeting with the members of task force of laghubitta companies assured that he would take action if the agitators dare to padlock the microfinance companies in future. The CDO also got ready to take a photograph with the delegation team members.
